JOB TITLE:
Financial and Accounting Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Prepare revenue forecasts and monthly financial statements. Process firm’s monthly Business and Occupation taxes, quarterly taxes, and property taxes. Prepare year-end financial statements and other financial documents for the CPA firm for corporate tax returns. Prepare year-end W2 and 1099 for the employees, contractors and vendors. Review and process semi-monthly payrolls for salaried and hourly employees. Process new hired employees into the system and maintain employee files. Administer company group health insurance benefit plan and 401k plan. Manage employee inquiries regarding benefit eligibility, employment verification, and unemployment claims. Reconcile and manage bank accounts, credit cards, clients’ trust accounts and line of credit accounts. Monitor and audit expense reports and reimbursement requests. Train newly hired employees in the accounting team.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field.
Two years of experience preparing, processing, and generating invoices both in QuickBooks and Time Matters software. Two years of experience supervising billing, collection, and reporting activities per company deadlines. Two years of experience generating and auditing aging accounts receivables to ensure compliance, monitoring customer accounts details for non-payments, late payments, and other irregularities, and collecting delinquent customer accounts. Two years of experience reviewing and analyzing customer inquiries and resolving disputed invoices. 6 months of experience in designing, developing, and generating business reports using QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, analyzing reports to identify opportunities, threats, and emerging trends, and generating monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue projections, annual budget, and strategic plans.
